Welcome to Miiraj Movement!

2020 has been yet another great year! It has seen yet another year's anniversary of classes and the growth of both my students and myself as a teacher. I am so very proud to know that yet again some of my Level I ladies took the performance plunge and joined Denver's Shimmy Mob event in 2016 and danced again in Thornton's first Shimmy Mob team in 2018. The annual amount raised by Shimmy Mob continues to rise and I can't give enough thanks to the team leaders and all the ladies involved for continually welcoming us and  making it such a fun experience. Let's keep it up and make next year even bigger!

I have also been fortunate enough to have added a new ongoing class; Essentrics! The popularity of this class has been truly wonderful and exciting to me and I hope to expand the class size yet again. Those of you who were on the waitlist, or who are registered and want more days, I see you, I hear you and I thank you for wanting more so I am working on adding on where I can.

 

Looking forward, I hope to continue to encourage a healthy acceptance of self through dance, community involvement and most important, laughter. While still continuing to focus on some basic fundamentals, this year will also bring some exciting changes; new locations, new routines and new faces. For those of you already in my classes, look forward to some new "field trips" as well.
